Surety Bonds now Available in Michigan - 7/28/2010
USG is pleased to announce our new surety bond assistance program in Michigan. This program is available to businesses that have been unable to obtain surety bonds through normal commercial channels; this may be due to financial deterioration in the economy or a new company with no prior background/experience.
Our appetite is diverse including commercial surety, payment, contract & performance, fidelity/dishonesty bonds, environmental, medicare & medicaid, third party fidelity, and worker’s comp paid loss retro. USG is an authorized agent of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Surety Bond Guarantee Program, providing surety bond credit up to $5 million. Other underwriting tools include Funds Control and Collateral Agreements to secure surety credit.

USG Announces Transportation Unit - 5/18/2010
USG Insurance Services, Inc, a national broker of commercial insurance, has recently launched a new package and monoline transportation unit, lead out of their Arlington, TX location by Jeannie Walker.
As an MGA for several “A” Rated admitted carriers, their targeted classifications are contractors, construction, courtesy transportation services, farming & livestock, food service, funeral services, guides & outfitters, landscapers, manufacturing, pest control, redi-mix operations, retail, sand & gravel haulers, sales reps, security guards, trucking and transport trucks.
Jeannie Walker has been with USG since November 2008, previously working as a Transportation Underwriter/Manager with Russell Grace, Inc. She has had over 25 years experience underwriting transportation/garage risks.
Auto physical damage and cargo is available in all states and auto liability is available in all states except CO, DE, FL, HI, MA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, RI, and WA.
